Declutter with me: Christmas Decorations
I tend to go through Christmas decorations each year. I don’t buy anything new unless is breaks, but I will sometimes buy one new ornament to hang on the tree. As my son is now older, i had the opportunity to declutter some of the younger looking decorations such as cuddly toy reindeers etc, so that the tree is more uniformed in its look. I did make sure he was involved in the process as well as taking part in decorating the tree too!
Tips for minimalist Christmas decor
- Make sure you have a consisted colour scheme that you can use every year
- Keep to key areas only – such as tree, fireplace and bannister
- To keep it special buy only one ornament for the tree each year, on the condition of decluttering another.
