5 Ways to Make Decluttering Fun

Decluttering is not everyone’s cup of tea, so I have come up with some ways to get into the decluttering spirit! % ways to make decluttering fun.

Let’s start to make decluttering fun…

  1. Trying on your wardrobe! This can help you visualise items for outfits and see what fits. You can put on your favourite music and do this with friends.
  2. Listen to music. Relax to your favourite songs whilst you decluttering. It can be a soothing tool for you. Similarly, you could watch a favourite film that you’ve seen before.
  3. Reward yourself when you have achieved your mini goals. This can be as small or as big as you want it to be – i.e. when you have decluttered your wardrobe you can treat yourself to something new – maybe something that you are missing.
  4. Make a snack station. This will give you little boosts of energy as and when you need it.
  5. Set goals. Give yourself a time limit or maybe you have to clear 10 items in 10 mins, or 30 in 30 mins, etc. Make it a bit of a game so that you have something to work towards. start with a small target and build up to bigger numbers as you get better at identifying what you can let go of.
