Want to get started with decluttering, but not sure how? Declutter your life in 5 easy steps.
1. The basics
The basics you need to know are that you will need to categorise into 4 sections. The most efficient way is to have a container or box for each. The four categories are keep, sell, donate and trash. This helps to keep items contained when decluttering, as well as keeping it
2. Start small, but start
Getting started is the hardest part, but if you start small it makes it easier. Avoid planning to declutter the whole room. Instead, choose a smaller area like a bedside table or cupboard.
3. Make quick decisions
Don’t waste time if you are unsure. Go for a simple yes or no. If you are hesitating, then consider it something to keep and revisit at a later date.
4. Remove items asap
Get time scheduled into your week to remove items to the recycle centre or to take to the charity shop.
5. Make decluttering a habit
