When you first start the deciding you want to declutter your home, the task can look pretty overwhelming. Even the steps of Marie Kondo’s Magic of Tidying are few and far between. Whilst it guides you through, most people do not have the time or the motivation to spend a 2-3 weeks blitzing their home to resemble minimalist living. Quite frankly, it is unachievable. So I wanted to break things down into manageable chunks – 52 to be precise. These are in no particular order, so feel free to pick and choose the categories when you see fit. Having 52 areas to declutter, means that you can spend one weekend afternoon working on an area and over time you will see an improvement to your living space. Here goes…

  1. Bedside table
  2. Under the bed
  3. Wardrobe
  4. Shoes
