Little Acts of Decluttering – Part 5

I’m back again with some more little acts of decluttering to help you to create daily habits for a clutter free home.

Let’s get decluttering…

  • Dresses – make sure you have a range, but reduce any similar or duplicate items in different colours.
  • Jewellery – keep special items that you could wear for different occasions.
  • Rugs and bath mats – do you need the tired looking mats that cannot be saved?
  • glasses and sunglasses – old prescription glasses can be returned to the opticians.
  • belts and ties – choose your favourites and declutter the rest.
  • Workwear – declutter any tired looking clothing that cannot be repaired or that are no longer being used. Logo’d items can be returned to the company.
  • bedroom floor – this will help you refresh each morning.
  • hair accessories – reduce any that you no longer use.
  • old phones – you could earn some pennies by selling these!
  • unused electrical devices such as consoles or tablets – you can even make money here by selling them on.
  • hair styling tools and supplies – another opportunity to make some cash and reduce the unused items in your home.
  • office desk and drawers
  • bathtub and shower areas – this will help you to see exactly what stuff you have, as well as getting into the habit of using items up before putting out new ones.
  • bathroom sink – clear surfaces help to calm your mind.
  • Pens and pencils – donate spare to friends and family.
