The 10 x 10 Capsule Challenge

I was researching further into minimalism and came across a selection of minimalism blogs that were recommended to follow. https://www.thegoodtrade.com/features/minimalist-blogs

One of the recommendations was a website called stylebee.ca with the 10 x 10 challenge. https://stylebee.ca/10-x-10-challenge/

After looking through the specific details of the clothing challenge, I decided that this would be a good way to build up a sense of style (which I am sometimes lacking). I need to learn to style and accessories clothing and this seemed like the best way to do it. In an effort to achieve this I need to choose my 10 clothing items.

BEGINNERโ€™S 10 x 10 challenge FORMULA

If youโ€™re a little bit stumped as to where to start with your items =consider this formula:

  • 2 Pairs of Shoes (1 heel + 1 flat)
  • 4 Tops (Consider pieces that layer well like a fitted long-sleeve, a button-down and a cardigan)
  • 1 Dress
  • 2 Bottoms
  • 1 Top Layer (Such as a denim jacket)

This is the recommended starting formula. I am going to swap out heels for boots, as it is rare to see me in any heels these days.
